Sasha obtained her M.Sc. in Audiology from UBC in 2000, and has worked as an audiologist at WorkSafeBC, specializing in noise and hearing loss prevention since then. She is now the Occupational Audiologist in the Risk Analysis Unit where she strives to reduce or prevent noise-related health and safety effects.

She also teaches future audiologists at UBC, and sits on numerous noise and hearing-related technical committees with the Canadian Standards Association.
