Aireen leads the development and implementation of outreach and promotion strategies, and manages the BC PNP’s marketing plan to promote B.C.’s immigration programs. Aireen also leads strategic program development and planning initiatives to monitor and report on trends and opportunities impacting the branch in order to develop and recommend strategies and implement solutions.
Aireen recently spent several months as the acting Director of Skills Immigration, leading the operations and setting the direction and operational priorities of the program’s Skills Immigration team.
Prior to joining the BC PNP, Aireen had extensive experience in all aspects of human resource management with the BC Public Service Agency. She has a Bachelor of Arts from University of Victoria and speaks four languages.

Join a panel of government representatives from Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) and the Ministry of Jobs, Trade and Technology (BC PNP) who will provide an overview of provincial and federal programs for employers in the hospitality industry who need to hire foreign workers.

Speakers will touch on the employer’s role in work permits, Labour Market Impact Assessments (LMIAs), and immigration programs leading to permanent residence for employees. The session will include an opportunity for participants to pose questions for the panel.
